Candy Shorts Prices: Premium Plans, Tokens and How to Cancel

How much is Candy AI Premium?

Candy AI sells one subscription, Premium, in three lengths. The cards above show the prices we saw on the plans page on October 26, 2026, in US dollars. The list price is $13.99 a month, and each plan is a discount on it:

• 12 months: $3.99 a month, billed $47.88 once a year;
• 3 months: $8.99 a month, billed $26.97 every three months;
• 1 month: $9.99 for the first month, then $13.99 a month.

Every plan renews automatically. The plans page says the 12-month and 3-month plans renew “for the same price and term”, and the monthly plan renews at $13.99 after the first month. Local taxes may be added, and Candy AI may show another currency where you live.

What does Premium include?

The plans page lists unlimited text messages, 100 tokens a month, 18+ image and video generation, your own custom characters and the full Live Action experience. Monthly subscribers get their tokens on each billing day; yearly subscribers get 100 tokens every month on the day they subscribed, without being charged again until the year is up.

Tokens pay for the extras: generating images and videos, creating custom characters, voice messages and calls, private content packs and, in Candy Shorts, locked episodes. More tokens can be bought at any time; their price isn’t shown to guests, so we don’t quote one.

How much does one Candy Shorts episode cost?

12 or 30 tokens, depending on the series. On October 27, 2026, 158 series asked 12 tokens per locked episode and 15 asked 30. The first episodes are free in almost every series, so you only pay from episode 3.

The Spicy shelf works differently: its 17 series need Premium from episode 1, episodes 1 and 2 carry no token price, and the rest were listed at 30 or 50 tokens each when we checked with a free account on October 26, 2026.

An episode bought with tokens stays in your account: Candy AI’s unlock window calls it “yours forever”. Its upgrade window also says a subscription unlocks “all premium episodes”, so with Premium you don’t need tokens for the locked ones.

What does a whole series cost?

Multiply the locked episodes by the price per episode. Most series have 5 episodes, two of them free, so finishing one usually takes three locked episodes. The cheapest finish in the catalogue was 36 tokens, for My Stepsister’s Slumber Party, and the priciest was 384, for My bestie betrayed me. Each series page shows its own total.

What happens to your tokens if you cancel?

They stay. Candy AI’s Help Center says cancelling doesn’t delete your token balance or your content: the tokens are kept while you are back on the free service, and you can use them again when you subscribe again.

How to cancel a Candy AI subscription

1. Log in to candy.ai and open “My Profile”.
2. Go to “Settings”.
3. At the bottom, next to your subscription details, click “Unsubscribe” and confirm.

Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for. It doesn’t refund anything by itself.

Can you get a refund?

Only in a narrow window. Candy AI’s refund policy accepts requests within 24 hours of a payment, if you have used 20 tokens or fewer, and only for card payments. A refund is a separate request to Customer Support: cancelling within 24 hours doesn’t count as asking for one. Residents of the EU and the UK have their own section in the terms.

Is there a Candy AI promo code?

We found no official one. The discounts are the ones printed on the plans page: 70%, 35% and 29% off the $13.99 list price. Sites selling “Candy AI promo codes” are not run by Candy AI.

Our take on the price

Start with the free episodes, then look at the token total on the page of the series you want to finish. If you also want to chat, keep in mind that the free tier stops at 5 messages: that, more than Shorts, is where Premium makes the difference.
