Candy AI App and Videos: How to Install It and Watch

Does Candy AI have an app?

Not a native one. Candy AI’s Help Center says it doesn’t offer an iOS or Android app: the platform works in the mobile browser, and you can install it as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Candy AI gives three reasons for that choice: an app-like experience, a cleaner screen without the browser’s address bar, and push notifications.

How to install Candy AI on iPhone

1. Open candy.ai in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Choose “Add to Home Screen”.

Candy AI now has its own icon and opens full screen.

How to install Candy AI on Android

1. Open candy.ai in Chrome.
2. Tap the three-dot menu.
3. Choose “Add to Home screen”.

The same steps work in most mobile browsers; the wording of the menu can change a little.

Watching Candy Shorts in the app

The web app is the site, so Candy Shorts works exactly the same: pick a series, press play, and the vertical player fills the screen. The free episodes are free there too: episode 1 without an account, episode 2 with a free one, in most series. Our episode guide lists them all.

The other Candy AI videos

Besides Shorts, Premium members can generate their own videos: the plans page lists 18+ video generation among the benefits, and video generation is one of the things tokens pay for. Those are videos you make, not series you watch. The Candy AI review covers the generators.

Can you download Candy AI videos?

Candy AI’s Help Center explains how to save a video from the browser: right-click and “Save video as” on a computer, or press and hold and choose “Download video” on a phone, depending on your browser and device. Candy Shorts episodes are different: they are streamed, and the series pages offer play, unlock and subscribe, not a download. Whatever you save is for personal use only, under Candy AI’s rules.

Avoid fake Candy AI apps

Because there is no native app, any app-store listing or APK that uses the Candy AI name comes from someone else. At best it opens the website; at worst it steals your login or installs malware. Our leaks guide has more on those files.
