Is Candy AI Safe or a Scam? Who Runs It, Billing and Refunds

Who owns Candy AI?

EverAI Limited. Candy AI’s terms of service say the services are owned and operated by EverAI Limited, incorporated in the Republic of Malta, registered with the Malta Business Registry under number C107181, with its address at 56 Central Business Centre, Triq Is-Soll, Santa Venera SVR 1833, Malta. The same company and address appear at the bottom of the plans page.

Is Candy AI a scam? Billing and renewals

It is a subscription service, and most complaints about it are really about renewals. What the plans page says, as of October 26, 2026:

• the charge appears as “EverAI” on your bank statement;
• the 12-month and 3-month plans renew automatically for the same price and term;
• the monthly plan costs $9.99 for the first month, then renews at $13.99 a month;
• you can cancel at any time in your settings.

Read the plan before you pay, put the renewal date in your calendar, and the bill won’t surprise you.

Can you get a refund from Candy AI?

Rarely. The refund policy in the Help Center and in section 10.4 of the terms allows a request:

• within 24 hours of the payment;
• only if you have used 20 tokens or fewer;
• only for payments made by debit or credit card;
• not for problems on your side, such as your device or connection.

Cancelling is not a refund request. You have to contact Customer Support separately, inside the 24 hours. EU and UK residents have a dedicated section in the terms.

How to cancel

Log in, open “My Profile”, go to “Settings”, and click “Unsubscribe” at the bottom, next to your subscription details. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your tokens stay on your account.

Is Candy AI safe to use?

We can’t audit a company’s servers, so we stick to what is on the record. Candy AI is for adults only and may ask you to verify your age. Its terms point to a privacy notice and a Content Removal Policy, and its menu links a Trust & Safety page. It runs in the browser, with no app to install, which also means no app permissions to grant.

Common sense still applies: chats are with AI characters, and the terms remind users that those exchanges are fictional. Don’t type anything into a chat that you wouldn’t want stored.

How to spot a fake Candy Shorts site

• The only place to watch is candy.ai. A site that streams “full episodes” itself is a copy.
• Candy AI has no native app, so an app-store listing or APK under its name isn’t official.
• No one can sell you a Candy AI promo code that isn’t on the plans page.
• Guides like this one are independent: our links carry an affiliate code and land on candy.ai, and we never ask for your login or your card.

Our call

Candy AI is legit in the plain sense: a registered company selling a clearly priced subscription. The risks are the usual ones for subscriptions, renewals and a narrow refund window, plus the fake sites around it. Start with the free episodes, and pay on candy.ai only.
