Mona’s Worst Enemy: the story

Forced to share a house with her stepbrother, Mona's organised life comes apart.

Mona has her life planned down to the hour. Then she has to share a house with her stepbrother David, the last person she would ever take seriously, and their daily battle of wits, stubbornness and bad decisions starts to rewrite all her rules.

Mona's Worst Enemy is one of the longer series on Candy Shorts, with 15 episodes. It is an enemies-to-something story between two step-siblings, tagged Stepsister and Taboo on Candy AI. Mona Newman is also the character the platform files the series under.

Where the free part ends

Episode 1 of Mona's Worst Enemy plays as soon as you open the series on Candy AI, with no account. Episode 2 needs a free account, with no payment. Candy AI says its episodes typically run under two minutes, so the free part is a short taste of the story.

From episode 3 the player stops at a lock. Episodes 3 to 15 cost 12 tokens each (156 tokens in total). On the series page Candy AI offers two ways past it: buy the episode with tokens (the window calls it “yours forever”), or upgrade to a subscription, which it says unlocks “all premium episodes”.
