Under the Chief on Candy Shorts: All 5 episodes, first 2 free

Under the Chief: the story

An awkward new doctor, a chief of surgery with his own ideas, and a head nurse who wants her fired.

Harriet is new, awkward and unsure of herself at the hospital. The chief of surgery takes a very personal interest in her training, while the jealous head nurse waits outside the on-call room, looking for a reason to get her fired.

Under the Chief is a hospital triangle and a companion to Under the Boss, set in a different workplace. It features Harriet Seagrave.

Where the free part ends

Episode 1 of Under the Chief plays as soon as you open the series on Candy AI, with no account. Episode 2 needs a free account, with no payment. Candy AI says its episodes typically run under two minutes, so the free part is a short taste of the story.

From episode 3 the player stops at a lock. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each (36 tokens in total). On the series page Candy AI offers two ways past it: buy the episode with tokens (the window calls it “yours forever”), or upgrade to a subscription, which it says unlocks “all premium episodes”.
