Sworn to the Queen: the story

Touching the queen means death, and she chooses the lowest-born guard for her door.

In this castle, touching the queen is a crime punished by death. So when the young queen picks the lowest-born guard to stand outside her bedchamber every night, each shift becomes a risk, and she keeps daring him to take it.

Sworn to the Queen is one of the platform's period fantasies, tagged Fantasy and Taboo, next to The King's Chambermaid and The Prince's Last Week Unwed.

Where the free part ends

Episode 1 of Sworn to the Queen plays as soon as you open the series on Candy AI, with no account. Episode 2 needs a free account, with no payment. Candy AI says its episodes typically run under two minutes, so the free part is a short taste of the story.

From episode 3 the player stops at a lock. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each (36 tokens in total). On the series page Candy AI offers two ways past it: buy the episode with tokens (the window calls it “yours forever”), or upgrade to a subscription, which it says unlocks “all premium episodes”.
